Professional Summary
Laetitia is a first-year PhD student in the Department of Sociology at the University of Cincinnati. She grew up in Montréal, Canada, where she completed her bachelor’s degree in sociology, criminology, and social work. She appreciates the perspective social work gave her to approach her research in medical sociology. Her research interests are centered around chronic illness, gender, and sexual assault.
In her free time, she loves to knit and read. She was involved in competitive dance and colorguard for most of her life, and she enjoys being on the teaching side of it now.
