Professional Summary

Personal Statement
Internists are a place of solace for many patients in their most vulnerable moments. I was particularly drawn to internal medicine for this reason. The dynamic nature, intellectual depth, and clear emphasis on teamwork within internal medicine are elements that also continue to captivate me. My rotations were completed in an underserved setting in West Virginia where I saw many patients face psychosocial and economic barriers. This opened my eyes to the responsibility held by internists to collaborate with social workers, consultants, and other members of the healthcare team to holistically care for patients.

Why I Chose Cincinnati
Everyone has been so intentionally kind and welcoming! Dr. Warm has set the tone for the residency program, ensuring that all faculty and residents are dedicated to creating a healthy and effective learning environment. It matters to have leaders and co-residents that are on the same page and willing to support you and motivate you when needed. I am also excited to learn at the Osher Center for Integrative Health. This center is one of the few in the nation that combines conventional medicine with holistic/lifestyle therapies.
