Professional Summary
Joshua is a professor of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Analytical Computer Cartography. Throughout his academic career, he has worked to design, expand, and teach graduate programs for Xavier University and, more recently, the University of Cincinnati's Department of Geography. He earned his GIS certificate, undergraduate degree, and graduate degree in Geography, specailizing in GIS, from the University of Cincinnati in 2010 and 2012.
In addition to his academic background, Joshua leverages 17 years of professional geospatial analysis experience within local government. He previously served as a Senior Computer Programmer for the City of Cincinnati, which included a ten-year tenure with the Cincinnati Area Geographic Information System (CAGIS). Most recently, he has spent seven years administering Cityworks, the enterprise asset management platform for the Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati (MSD).
