Professional Summary

Dr. Emily Nguyen was born and raised in Milpitas, California. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacological Chemistry and a minor in General Biology from the University of California, San Diego in 2019, followed by her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of California, San Francisco in 2023. She relocated to Cincinnati, Ohio for her PGY-1 Community-Based Pharmacy Residency with the University of Cincinnati with an emphasis on providing care to underserved communities. She will be practicing as a consultant pharmacist in long-term care facilities throughout southern Ohio. In addition, she will staff at LifeLine Pharmacy and serve as a Clinical Instructor of Pharmacy Practice and Administrative Sciences at the University of Cincinnati – James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy. Her clinical areas of interests include ambulatory care, chronic disease state management, psychiatric pharmacy, and academia. Upon completion of her PGY-1, she plans to pursue a PGY-2 in ambulatory care and obtain board certification. She also hopes to pursue a faculty position at an academic medical center, where she will have the opportunity to teach, mentor, and precept pharmacy students and residents.
