Paul E. Norrod, DrPH, M-Div., MAC, RN, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Population Health Sciences. His research focuses on occupational health and injury prevention using machine learning and big data. In particular, Dr. Norrod conducts research on mental health conditions and suicide in the US workforce, and develops community-based interventions aimed at improving mental well-being in occupational and rural populations. Dr. Norrod's areas of teaching expertise include epidemiology, community and population health, and biostatistics.
