She has experience in the fields of Children’s Literature, Popular Education, and Latin American literature.  She has worked as a writer and researcher for Fe y Alegría -Popular Educational Research Center and as manager of the Children’s Literature Department at Zulia State Public Library “María Calcaño” in Venezuela.
