Professional Summary
Hello! I oversee all aspects of the “Todos Listos” grant. Todos Listos,” (Everyone is Ready) is supporting Head Start teachers working with large populations of Hispanic children in four Head Start programs around Ohio. The program pays for the teachers’ tuition, books and laptop computers as they earn an associate’s or bachelor’s degree through the Early Childhood Learning Community (ECLC) at the University of Cincinnati. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico. I speak fluent Spanish and English. I moved to Cincinnati, Ohio when I was 18 years old to attend college. I received my bachelor’s degree in Physical and Health Education from Xavier University and my master’s degree in Health Education from the University of Cincinnati. I worked as a graduate assistant at the University of Cincinnati while I worked on my master’s degree. After graduation, I worked for 17 years in Corporate Health and a few years as a Medical Interpreter in the Cincinnati area. I am back to UC. I am delighted to be part of the ECLC-Distance Learning program assisting the Todos Listos students in every way I can in their journey to graduation. I hope that my language skills as well as my enthusiasm and passion for our program can be an asset to you all.
