Student Teacher of Musicology
Pianist Sam Reich has performed solo and chamber music in the United States, Europe and South America. Recent performances include concerts for the Ohio Arts Council, the Costa Rica International Piano Festival, the Bogota International Piano Festival, and the Ritsos Project in Greece. He is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music where he studied with Barry Snyder, Thomas Schumacher, and Jean Barr, and is currently completing his DMA as a student of Dror Biran at the College-Conservatory of Music. Sam also is completing his PhD in music theory and instructs the Graduate Theory Review and Honors II courses at CCM. He is currently Instructor of Piano at Denison University.
