Professional Summary

Personal Statement
As I continued through medical school, a primary goal of mine was to make an impact and continue carrying out self-less acts. During my accumulation of clinical, community service, and academic experiences, it became my intention to not only continue growing into a passionate physician, as my grandma exemplified early on, but one who would be purposeful in their actions and committed to their patients. Whether it’s through expanding my knowledge or being directly involved in patient care, I hope to be diligent and dedicated in my efforts to become a physician that will practice in their patient’s best interests.

Why I Chose Cincinnati
I chose Cincinnati because I wanted a program that valued clinical education, community engagement, wellness, and diversity. On my interview day, not only were these criteria met, but I was met with some of the most inviting and friendly residents and faculty that made the day so enjoyable! Throughout both my preliminary year and advanced Ophthalmology years, I know that I’ll be surrounded by individuals who will help me become the best version of myself at the end this journey.
