Professional Summary

Personal Statement
People describe me as optimistic, happy and jolly; the one with the laugh you can hear down the hall. More than anything, I think optimism is the key feature that has gotten me to the point of fulfilling my dream of becoming a physician. Optimism has helped me keep a clear mind while trying to care for severely ill patients, it has kept me going through the last miles of marathons and has been a light for me to follow as I worked my way through manuscripts and grant revisions.

Why I Chose Cincinnati
Cincinnati is home. In addition to being born and raised in Cincinnati, UC is the place where I fell in love with medicine. While doing research to prepare myself for medical school, I was able to observe how medicine was practiced, how clinical and basic science research can impact patient care and how I can contribute to the advancement of medical knowledge. The PSTP program at UC will allow me to become the clinician and scientist I aspire to be.
