Professional Summary

Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Jordan moved to Cincinnati and excitedly joined the Center for Exploratory Studies in May 2022 after living in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Indiana. They graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2018 with a BS in Community and Environmental Sociology and Environmental Studies and from Indiana University Bloomington in 2022 with a Master of Science of Education in Higher Education and Student Affairs and a Graduate Certificate in College Pedagogy. Jordan previously worked in Housing and Residential Life, supervising and mentoring student staff and holistically supporting on-campus students. They have also worked in new student orientation advising, sorority and fraternity life, wellness and prevention, and career advising.

Jordan’s passions for working in partnership with students stems from their undergrad experiences as a living-learning community programming assistant, a resident assistant, and a rooftop gardening educator. As they struggled with their original academic choices and sense of belonging as an undergraduate student, Jordan is particularly enthusiastic about working with students in the Center for Exploratory Studies as they navigate their academic and personal journeys, find best-fit majors, and engage in different academic and extracurricular experiences.

When not meeting with students, Jordan enjoys exploring Cincinnati with their dog Rue (short for Arugula), reading, and being outside.
