Research and Practice Interests

My practice has been in leadership and management in healthcare organizations. I bring that experience to my students and remain abreast of the significant issues in the healthcare system in order to plan  for  and prepare  the leaders needed for the future.
My clincial focus has been and continues to be care coordination and case management,  particularly of the chronically ill. As the complexity of the entire healthcare system  evolves and resources continue to shrink, clients will need  case managers who are armed with  the very best evidence based practices to help them navigate the chaos of the healthcare settings today and of the future..
