Kaitlyn Danielle Siersema

Kaitlyn is a second year PhD student in Classical Philology. She graduated Summa cum laude from Grand Valley State University in 2022 with a BA in Classical Studies. While at Grand Valley State, she  received the Excellence in a Discipline Award. Her undergrad thesis explored representation of Amazons in Ancient Greek Literature and vase paintings. 

Her current research interests are broadly focused on sexuality and gender, especially in regard to sexual metaphor and innuendo in ancient literature.
