Professional Summary
Personal Statement
My passion also extends deeply into education. I find fulfillment in empowering others, whether coaching young swimmers or founding MedMatrix, an AI-driven healthcare education platform now used by thousands of medical students nationwide. Taking a leave from medical school to build MedMatrix allowed me to develop critical skills in leadership, marketing, institutional communication, software engineering, research, and presenting at medical conferences. Although this meant sacrificing milestones, the tangible impact MedMatrix has on students consistently affirms my decision. I approach Internal Medicine with the mindset of an engineer, methodically dissecting complex problems and interconnected systems, and seeking innovative solutions. Yet, at its core, medicine is about people and I thrive on forming meaningful connections through compassionate patient care.
Why I Chose Cincinnati
I chose Cincinnati after visiting for my second look. I immediately felt comfortable with the people on the campus. It is somewhere where I am sure I can succeed academically and socially. I felt at home in the city and am looking forward to exploring the food scene, culture/arts, and sports (though I am a Chicago sports fan).
