Professional Summary

Personal Statement
One of the greatest joys of internal medicine is that the best patient care happens not in isolation, but through collaboration. As a teaching fellow at my medical school, I experienced joy seeing green learners grapple with and overcome challenging concepts. I loved participating in the education of others and mentoring them as I learned even more myself. As a medical student in the hospitals and clinics, I was the benefactor of continual guidance from seasoned physicians. I also observed experienced physicians play the part of both teacher and learner, offering their expertise where needed and easily consulting colleagues when appropriate. This inter-dependent, supportive environment is what makes for the best patient care and is one of my favorite parts of internal medicine.

Why I Chose Cincinnati
From the moment I opened Cincinnati’s website until the end of my interview day, their mission was clear: to provide the best possible learning experience for residents with the goal of providing the best possible care for their patients. This resonated with me deeply. Even though my interview was virtual, I felt as if each person I talked with already knew me. The UC faculty and residents alike exuded a love for their jobs, and collectively felt like a family. I am so thrilled to be joining this family!
