Jessica Sue Storey

I have extensive experience in medical, surgical, and cardiovascular intensive care unit bedside nursing, am a content expert in forensic evidence collection and victim support services through my experience as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE), and have graduated with my Doctorate of Nursing Practice. I currently practice as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist specializing in pediatric anesthesia and surgical care at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC). I serve on various quality improvement committees for CCHMC and have contributed chapters to a published Pediatric Anesthesia textbook. I have also been published in the AANA Journal for my case report on Postpoliomyelitis. I am currently the course lead for Advanced Pharmacology for Anesthesia 1 and 2 for the Nurse Anesthesia Program at UC and additionally teach content in neurologic anesthesia, pediatric anesthesia, complex endocrine disorder anesthetic management, and airway management for the advanced anesthesia provider. I provide program support for the University of Cincinnati Nurse Anesthesia Program by serving as the communications coordinator, am the faculty advisor for the Wellness Committee, and am the current co-chair for the UC NAP Alumni Association.
