Professional Summary
Dr. Stacy is an Assistant Professor at the College of Nursing. Her research is aimed at improving the quality life of persons living with dementia, specifically Lewy body dementia (LBD) and their family caregivers. Dr. Stacy's research in this area has resulted in publications focusing on the needs and concerns of family caregivers and the development of an instrument to assess LBD family caregivers. Her goal is to design theory-based interventions to address the unmet needs of this population.
Dr. Stacy also has an interest in serving rural communities by developing, expanding, and improving prevention, treatment, and recovery services for individuals experiencing substance use disorder (SUD) and opioid use disorder (OUD).
