Professional Summary
Hanzhong Sun (he/him/his) is a first-year Ph.D. student in Educational Studies (Second Language Studies concentration) at the School of Education, the College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services (CECH), the University of Cincinnati (UC), advised by Prof. Hye Pae. Before joining this program, he taught English-as-a-foreign-language (EFL) courses at the tertiary level in China for six years. At UC, he works at the CECH Evaluation Services Center as a graduate research assistant. His research interests span (instructed) second language acquisition, psycholinguistics, and applied linguistics, with a particular focus on vocabulary.
