Dr. Corinn Taylor, EdD, MSN, RN is a healthcare leader, researcher, and community advocate with over 26 years of experience across public, private, and government institutions. She currently serves as the Founder and Executive Director of The Empowerment Foundation, where she leads initiatives that center the voices of Black women to drive systemic change in maternal and infant health. Her work prioritizes trauma-informed care, racial equity, and culturally affirming community-based solutions. Her leadership bridges clinical practice, public health, and grassroots advocacy to ensure Black birthing people are heard, respected, and supported across all stages of care.  A lifelong advocate for community voice, Dr. Taylor transforms lived experience into actionable recommendations to improve healthcare systems. Her mission is to ensure Black birthing people are heard, respected, and supported—across all stages of their journey.
