Professional Summary

Personal Statement
My time spent with patients as a medical student in the hospital were some of my most meaningful learning moments, as I witnessed the complexity of the human body and its physiology. When seeing patients I could personally relate to, I was especially shown the importance of balancing intellectual challenge with human connection and using it as an avenue for constant growth. Internal Medicine is a field that challenges me daily and aligns with my goals as a future physician. It reminds me of the true depth and complexity of medicine, even when on the surface things may seem routine. I am excited to pursue a career in Internal Medicine, a field that offers daily opportunities for growth and encourages deep clinical thinking, while uniting medical expertise with meaningful human relationships.

Why I Chose Cincinnati
While interviewing for programs, I sought a program that would offer strong clinical experience while also treating me like family. When meeting the residents at UC, I saw how they fostered a sense of community, and they interacted in ways that showed me they would be lifelong friends and not simply coworkers. The program’s emphasis on Growth Mindset and Dr. Warm’s overall
philosophy also aligned with my personal goals, and I knew I would be in an incredibly supportive environment while training at UC!
