Professional Summary

Personal Statement
Early exposure to medicine while receiving treatment for cholesteatoma as a child made me familiar with hospitals and physicians. That, combined with acts by my parents to help others, imparted a deep sense of empathy and compassion, leading to a calling to improve patients' lives as a physician. I chose Internal Medicine because of the way it stimulated and challenged my mind and the variety of career pathways it provides.

Why I Chose Cincinnati
Having spent time in Cincinnati in the past, the city offered everything I was looking for, including great food, professional sports teams, and great parks in a perfectly sized city. The biggest reason I chose UC is the program's emphasis on learning and teaching. I have so much room for growth in medical knowledge and as a learner and teacher, which are essential in becoming a better medicine practitioner. UC and Dr. Warm emphasized these aspects of education during my away rotation at UC and while interviewing.
