Geotechnical computational modeling, uncertainty quantification and reliability, risk and resilience assessment, underground excavation and tunneling, earthen slopes and levees, soil/rock-structure interaction, in-situ characterization of extraterrestrial regolith, physical model tests and centrifuge modeling, sensing and machine learning in geotechnical engineering
