Lucretia Lynn White

Dr. Lucretia White is an Assistant Professor at the University of Cincinnati College of Nursing, where she also earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) focus in 2025. Prior to her full-time faculty appointment, Dr. White served as an adjunct instructor at the University of Cincinnati for seven years, teaching Fundamentals of Nursing to sophomore-level students. In her current role, she continues to support undergraduate nursing education through clinical instruction, guiding students in hands-on patient care and professional development.
In addition to her academic responsibilities, Dr. White practices as a medical-surgical nurse at Bethesda Hospital, where she remains actively engaged in bedside care. Her dual roles in education and clinical practice allow her to bridge theory and practice, enriching the student learning experience. Dr. White is committed to fostering clinical excellence, critical thinking, and compassionate care in the next generation of nurses.
