Professional Summary

Cason Willman is a first-year Ph.D. candidate, specializing in Greek and Latin philology. He completed his bachelor's degree at Case Western Reserve University (2025). His research focuses primarily on epic, having presented at the Ohio Classical Conference (2022) on Juno's role in the Aeneid and at the Southern Section of CAMWS (2024) on the ethics of Zeus' rise to power in the Theogony. Cason was awarded the CAMWS Award for Outstanding Achievement in Classical Studies (2022) by the CWRU faculty; he also served as Vice President of Case Western's revived chapter of Eta Sigma Phi (2023-4).
