Luahna Winningham Carter received her B.S. in psychology from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, her M.S. in criminology from Indiana State University, and her M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from the University of Cincinnati. She currently serves as the Academic Director for Master's Degree Programs in the School of Criminal Justice. Luahna has been an active contributor to Policing: An International Journal of Police Strategies & Management; co-authored papers and presented at academic conferences for The Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences, the American Society of Criminology, and the Midwestern Criminal Justice Association; and serves as an adjunct instructor at UC.
