Professional Summary

Christine Woodbury is a Suzuki-certified educator with extensive experience teaching violin and viola. She is on the faculty of the Northern Kentucky School of Music in both the Suzuki and Mozart/Beethoven Strings programs. She has also taught at the Cincinnati School of Music, the French Woods Festival for the Performing Arts, Mt. Washington Elementary after-school program and in private studios in New Jersey and Massachusetts.

She has a Master’s degree in viola performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and a Bachelor’s in music with a minor in psychology Magna Cum Laude from Smith College. She is finishing a doctorate in viola performance and pedagogy at CCM. Woodbury was selected to participate in the prestigious Aspen Music Festival and School four times, and she has been honored to be both a scholarship recipient and Resident Assistant at the festival. She enjoys performing frequently both at CCM and in the greater Cincinnati area.
