Elizabeth Ann Shade , BA Psychology Graduate Gemologist

I hold a BA in psychology from the University of Cincinnati and Graduate Gemologist degree from the Gemological Institue of America. My current area of study is the science of synthetic gem material, specifically diamonds. My hope is to develop more advanced techniques to identify synthetic treated stones.  

Guild of the Year Award 2016 and 2022 - Given to the Greater Cincinnati AGS/GIA Guild during the years I was Social Director and a board member at-large.

Invisible Setting: Repair and Setting by Wendy J. Wooding- I am referenced by Wooding as an expert on laser repair used in the invisible setting process.
