Lindsay Susan Young

Lindsay Young: A graduate of Wake Forest University School of Medicine, Lindsay Young was at the top of her class and an AOA member. She has a bachelor of science in neuroscience summa cum laude from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Va. Her honors research there was on the effects of fatigue on motor and cognitive performance. In medical school she participated in two research projects, one on the effect of tamoxifen and black cohosh on breast cancer cells and another involving a case study and review of the literature on undifferentiated sarcoma of the liver in childhood in the context of infectious disease prevention and nutritional support. She has been active in her community and has a passion for volunteer work and transitional medicine. She also did an elective in Belize as part of a medical mission.
